Poker Dog update

January 31, 2008 |  6:28 pm

My earlier post on whether there were original "Poker Dog"  paintings at the Redwood prompted this response:

Just read this and it made my day. I can assure you there are no original Coolidge poker dogs here now.

We have the original Poker Dog paintings, Bold Bluff and Waterloo. The size of the pictures are 4' x 5' in solid oak frames. The paintings were done by Old Smith in Minnesota in the 1880's We have all the history on the paintings, the court documents and how we acquired them. They hung in the Court House in Los Angeles in the 60's and have been stored since then.
