Angel's Flight is for me the quintessential Noir Icon. The train to nowhere appears in many great noirs, like Criss Cross, Kiss Me Deadly, Act of Violence, and a strange post period noir called fittingly enough Angel's Flight.
It's also in The Glen Miller Story with Jimmy Stewart.
