After I read this story about the influx of Negroes and Hispanics in L.A. Country,  I was remembering that back when I was a little girl in Inglewood, that there was a city ordinance that stated Negroes had to be out of town by sunset if they were working for any families there doing domestic work.  I can't recall if they ever worked in the lima bean fields.  My 4 brothers did though.
