Web delight: A magical mystery dance!

April 10, 2009 |  4:16 pm

The great thing about the Web is that it spontaneously produces so many wonderfully mysterious found objects. I haven't seen a more uplifting video in ages, but since all of the explanatory text is in Dutch, what's missing is the context. I know it depicts an amazing number of people dancing in the middle of the central train station in Antwerp, but why? And if we knew, would it spoil the fun?

Is it an outbreak of spontaneous joyfulness?

Is it a commercial?

Is it a Happening?

Is it a plug for a reality TV show?

Or is it proof of an innate Flemish ability to dance?

Any ideas?
