First off, I know Quentin Tarantino has to be out somewhere, even on ‘American Idol,’ flogging his upcoming World War II movie, ‘Inglourious Basterds.’ But as oh-so-many Web commentators have noted -- here and here for example -- why is he suddenly starting to look like Adolf Hitler?

As for ‘American Idol’ favorite Adam Lambert, after hearing him perform Steppenwolf’s ‘Born to Be Wild,’ I found myself thinking: I know it was screechy and cheesy and overly theatrical and hilariously like a long-lost clip of Donny Osmond doing a Ozzy Osbourne tribute, but was it also just ... terrible?

Am I wrong here?

Originally, I offered to let you see for yourself, by posting a clip of Lambert butchering performing ‘Born to Be Wild’ on ‘American Idol.’ But the Fox Evil Empire bloodhounds have forced everyone to take down clips from the show -- they’re not even available on the Fox-backed Hulu site. Apparently it is OK for fans to post the music itself, simply with photos of Lambert in performance. So you can still judge his crooning skills for yourself:
