U2 has been closing the show on ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ each night this week, playing tracks from their new album, ‘No Line on the Horizon.’ (Dave puts in a helpful plug by reciting the title and holding up the cover each night.) But the highlight for me was U2’s rendition of Letterman’s Top 10 list, this one being the Top 10 Things U2 Has Learned Over the Years. My favorite, from the Edge, who apparently ad-libbed the joke: ‘Cool name: The Edge. Uncool Name: Sting.’
