Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama hangs out on Google+

Desmond Tutu is turning 80 and he’s throwing a celebration in South Africa.

But the Dalai Lama earlier this week canceled his plans to attend after government officials did not grant his visa request.

Instead the Tibetan spiritual leader and fellow Nobel laureate is going to join Archbishop Tutu virtually in a hangout on Google+ starting at 1:30 am PT on Saturday.
