An authorized biography of Steve Jobs, ‘iSteve: The Book of Jobs,’ is on Amazon’s Top 100 bestseller book list, about nine months ahead of its release.

The book, by Walter Isaacson, the president of the Aspen Institute, a D.C. think tank, is set to be released March 6, 2012. But it’s available for pre-order on the Seattle-based retail giant’s website -- just in time for Jobs’ announcing Apple’s new iCloud service on Monday at the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference.

On Monday morning ‘iSteve’ was ranked on Amazon’s bestseller list at No. 13, then No. 9 and down to No. 11 by the afternoon. It also ranked first in three book categories: business-related biographies and memoirs, biography & history, and technology.

Hardcover copies of ‘iSteve’ have a list price of $30. Amazon was offering it for $16.50 on Monday.
