Japan Earthquake: YouTube video of 2nd hydrogen explosion at Fukushima nuclear plant
Clouds billowed hundreds of feet into the air after a second hydrogen explosion struck the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan on Monday.
The Associated Press has posted video, from Japan's NHK news channel, of the blast to its YouTube page, which can be seen below.
About 150 miles north of Tokyo, the Fukushima nuclear complex has been in crisis. The first hydrogen explosion came on Saturday and seawater was used to cool down a reactor and prevent a meltdown.
So far, Japanese officials have stated that they believe the possibility of massive radiation emissions is low, but the troubles are already having an impact on how the public and lawmakers view nuclear power in Japan and the abroad.
