Jawbone, the maker of Bluetooth hands-free headsets for mobile phones, has come out with a portable Bluetooth speaker that puts out a whopping 85 decibels, and it was shown at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Just pair your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone with the Jambox and you can listen to your music anywhere without plugging anything in. The Jawbone Jambox also works as a speakerphone, making it easy to look hip while hosting a conference call. It retails for about $199.

The Jambox looks like it was created using the same design language as the company’s line of hands-free headsets, but since you can’t put it in your ear they have a case that lets you wear it around your neck. Maybe Flavor Flav will have to keep up with the times.
