According to British national daily newspaper the Guardian, Branson is “billing the magazine as a paperless ‘revolutionary multimedia’ publication designed specifically for the iPad.”

The digital magazine, dubbed Project, will be revealed Tuesday in New York. It reportedly will be headed by Branson’s 29-year-old daughter Holly and Anthony Noguera, former editor of FHM.

Content will include entertainment, design, business, travel and international culture.

The magazine is likely to compete with News Corp. Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch’s iPad publication, The Daily. The publication will have a staff of about 100 and is costing Murdoch about $30 million.
