Facebook: Teens want to unfriend their cyber-stalking moms
More than three-quarters of parents on Facebook are friends with their kids -- to many of those kids' dismay, Tiffany Hsu writes.
They're especially fretful about their mothers having access to their profiles. But if readers' comments on the story are any indication, many maternal Facebookers have better things to do on the social network than obsessively follow their children's every cyber step.
According to a reader dubbed "trivimp": "This mom is more interested in her own network of friends.... My teens, like most teens, have a bad case of "it's all about ME" syndrome, but I'm really not there to humiliate them."
