The sacred art of texting

Almost a week after we heard about the infamous groom who decided to update his Facebook and Twitter at the altar, Samsung Mobile released a survey today that found that there aren't many places that are taboo for texting.

The survey was conducted by Kelton Research and included 300 cellphone users in the Los Angeles area.

Thirteen percent of respondents admitted to texting in a house of worship. (Perhaps the higher powers will get revenge when the transgressors receive their cellphone bills.)

The study also found that 39% of respondents text at the dinner table and 26% text on dates.

The study failed to mention whether that 26% made it past the first date.
