Sara! how embarrassing. There are times when humour is NOT appropriate.
Despite what is probably going to be a divided "court" regarding his personal quirkiness, court cases etc., this man had a huge, undeniable talent. He was beloved by many, the least of not which is his family. He was found not guillty of these scandals.
I took my young son to the "victory" tour in the 80's, and was totally knocked out by him, and his brothers. Other than Tina Turner, I have never seen such incredible talent. I think we have lost a gift. His heart is in his music and I for one will "be there" to always love and remember you. Farrah too.

Sarah Silverman, that's two of us. If you need to escape the Jacksonettes for a while I live in London and I'm tall. Walk behind me.. You'll be good for two weeks at least. By then the truth will be out and the tide turned. Run and don't look back little Sarah.

Someone told me the Roman Catholic church was going to honor him for his work with children. Although I don' t know much about Michael Jackson, I was not aware that he did charity work like with kids.

Sarah Silverman you truly are a sick, pathetic and sad wanna be comedian with no class whatsoever. You will never be able to touch in your pitiful career what Michael achieved in his. As a matter of fact, the only reason I know who you are is because I saw you on Maher's show and you weren't even funny. Just like I dismissed you then, I'm dismissing you now. One thing I pray for is that his ex-wife will not get her hands on those children. Perhaps, you are basking in Michael's death so that all of Michael's money will go into the, well you know, community.

Michael Jackson's version of "Who's Loving You" says it all. How can a kid sing that song with such maturity? Gee....part of my childhood died today. I'm am sad and must confess...I couldn't hold back the tears.

Listen to this Michael, Jackson 5, Jackson song and tell me this kid wasn't GREAT! This song displays what made the boy SPECIAL. His later songs had nothing on this: The boy was between 10 and 13 years old when he did this number. It is one of my all time favorite songs. Michael turned it out. The song is a Smokey Robinson song, but, again, Michael turned Smokey out on this song:
WHO'S LOVING YOU: The Jackson version.

The Smokey version.

Now, if you ever get the chance, listen to the Terence Trent D'Arby version and understand this. D'Arby's version is based on Michael Jackson's version. The only difference is this: Michael Jackson was a kid when he did his version and D'Arby was a full grown man.

RIP Michael. You were truely GREAT! You turned them out!

who the hell is sarah silverman? Never heard of her.
Posted by: nadine | June 26, 2009 at 10:07 AM
Positive: He was an extraordinary artist, esp. his earlier work Off The Wall and Thriller (i think few people would dispute that)
Negative: He taught his black brothers that a wide nose and black skin were an embarrassment, countering his own negative behavior with humanitarian causes. Had Michael kept his god-given features along with his talent, and come out as a gay man to boot, he would have left an extraordinary legacy. Pop figures-in-the-making, learn a lesson from this!
