Tiffany Hsu's bio

Tiffany Hsu covers alternative energy and green business. She writes about solar installations, wind power projects, biofuels made from algae and electric vehicles. A Bay Area native, Hsu attended UC Berkeley, where stories about eco-activists on campus who were literally tree huggers turned her on to all things environmental. She joined The Times in 2007.
