Jessica Guynn's bio

12:38 PM, April 21, 2008

Jessica Guynn covers the Internet.

She has spent two decades as a journalist, reporting from board rooms and locker rooms, delving into politics and the Pentagon. Her sweet spot is Silicon Valley: how the technology, people and culture are changing life as we know it.

A Berkeley native, she joined the Times in 2007 from the San Francisco Chronicle, where she was the senior technology writer. Before that she spent nearly a decade with the Contra Costa Times.

Her first computer was a Mac thanks to the largesse of Apple CEO Steve Jobs, who donated a slew of them to his (sort of) alma mater Reed College during her freshman year.

Here's a full list of blog posts by Jessica Guynn, who can be reached at jessica.guynn @ latimes.com. She is currently on maternity leave.
