Party People: Farrell celebrates with the press
The Village at the Lift was packed tonight for the premiere party of "In Bruges." And surprisingly, it wasn't celebrities or filmmakers who were snapping up all the nibbly things, but a group far more devious: the lowly entertainment press.
The film's stars, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, eventually showed up and spent some time chatting about, but a majority of the night found journalists catching up, dishing on what to see and not to see and playing, um, the video game Guitar Hero.
The eclectic group included everyone from former New York Times critic Elvis Mitchell, Eric "Quint" Vespe of Ain't It Cool News, online prognosticator Jeffrey Wells and the Los Angeles Times' own John Horn. No one was complaining about the free drinks, but it was certainly an event that will be forgotten by 3 p.m. Friday.

Stop drinking and do some work. How was the movie?
