Leonard Williams, a defensive lineman from Daytona Beach, Fla., announced Wednesday that he would sign a national letter of intent with USC, according to several reports.
That’s good news for the Trojans, who lost commit Pio Vatuvei to Washington.
Williams, 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, could help a defensive line that lost three starters in end Nick Perry and tackles DeJohn Harris and Christian Tupou.
The Trojans are still awaiting word on a decision from another Floridian: receiver Nelson Agholor.
