Many NFL players took to Twitter tonight after Super Bowl XLVI to congratulate the victorious New York Giants. Players offered respect to the new champions and a desire to emulate them next season. Tim Tebow posted a photo of Eli Manning holding the Lombardi Trophy with a single word: "Motivation." More examples can be found here, here, here and here.

A stark exception was Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, who let his feelings about the Patriots be known with what seems to be a veiled reference to "Spygate," a 2007 controversy involving the Patriots.
