For Landon Collins, one of the top-rated safety prospects in the nation, choosing Alabama over LSU must have been quite a difficult decision.

After all, when he announced his school of choice on national TV, his mother couldn’t hide her disappointment. Even though she was clad in a bright pink and purple ensemble, her reaction was anything but cheery.

She looked down at the ground until she was prodded by a reporter.

‘I feel that LSU is the better place for him to be,’ she said. ‘LSU Tigers, No. 1. Go Tigers!’

Then it was Collins’ turn to look awkwardly at the ground.

Even though Collins vocalized a commitment, he can’t officially sign his letter of intent until Feb. 1.

Alabama fans can only hope that Mama Collins doesn’t ground her son until he changes his mind.
