Down 7-0, Tim Tebow took over at the New England 24-yard line on the Denver Broncos’ first possession and handed off to running back Willis McGahee for a five-yard gain.

Tebow then dropped back and tossed a long pass past midfield that was five yards beyond the reach of wide receiver Eddie Royal.

Tebow dropped back again on third down, evaded the pass rush and ran 18 yards for a first down.

McGahee then ran through a big hole and took the next handoff to the New England 38.

A New England linebacker then charged at Tebow on second down, forcing a fumble that the Patriots recovered near the Patriots’ 42.
