Angels spring-training tickets to go on sale Jan. 14

The Angels announced Wednesday that tickets for spring-training games in Tempe, Ariz., will go on sale Saturday, Jan. 14, at 9 a.m. (PST) and can be purchased on the team’s website (www.angels.com), through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000) and at Arizona-based Ticketmaster outlets. In addition, tickets will be available at the Tempe Diablo Stadium ticket office beginning Saturday, Feb. 18.

The Angels, who signed the top slugger (Albert Pujols) and starting pitcher (C.J. Wilson) on the free-agent market in December, open the 2012 Cactus League schedule March 5 in Phoenix against the Oakland Athletics. Their first home game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, against the Chicago White Sox.

Ticket prices at Tempe Diablo Stadium are $34 for home plate MVP, $29 for field MVP, $18 for field box, $14 for grandstand and $10 for lawn/berm seating. The Angels will again offer all-inclusive tickets in the upper pavailion for $40, which will include game ticket and unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Season tickets for all 15 Cactus League Angels home games are also available at a price of $510 for home plate MVP, $435 for field MVP, $270 for field box, $210 for grandstand and $150 for lawn seating. To order season tickets, call the Angels at (888) 796-4256.
