USC football: Four players named to Freshman All-America team

USC Coach Lane Kiffin and his staff are on the recruiting trail, no doubt pitching how young players helped spark the Trojans’ 10-2 season.

CBSSports.com on Wednesday released its Freshman All-America team, and four USC players made the cut.

Wide receiver Marqise Lee and guard Marcus Martin were selected to the offense, linebacker Dion Bailey to the defense and kicker Andre Heidari to special teams.

UCLA cornerback Tevin McDonald, the brother of Trojans safety T.J. McDonald, also made the team.
