Kevin-sumlin_600

Houston Coach Kevin Sumlin is no longer a candidate to be UCLA's football coach, according to a person familiar with the situation who was not authorized to speak on the subject.

Dan Guerrero, UCLA's athletic director, met with Sumlin on Saturday and then returned to Los Angeles.

UCLA officials have also reached out to Miami Coach Al Golden to succeed Rick Neuheisel, who was fired as Bruins coach last week.
