December 6, 2011 |  7:38 am

The winners of baseball's top awards, including the Most Valuable Player and the Cy Young Award, will be revealed on television next season.

MLB Network will showcase the awards during a four-day period next fall, according to an agreement ratified Tuesday by the Baseball Writers Assn. of America.

The BBWAA votes for and presents the MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year awards. The awards have not previously been televised.
