The Clippers made if official Thursday afternoon, announcing that they had signed Reggie Evans to a one-year contract.

Evans will earn the veteran’s minimum of about $1.3 million.

The 6-foot-8 Evans will be a backup and provide the Clippers with a physical and tough presence even though he’s an undersized center-forward.

Evans, 31, averaged a career-high 11.5 rebounds per game last season with the Toronto Raptors.

The Clippers don’t expect Evans to play in Sunday’s Christmas Day game against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland because of a foot injury that may keep him out for two weeks.

The Clippers also announced that they had waived Courtney Fortson and Marcus Hubbard.

That leaves their roster at 13.
