Blake Griffin clearly has a lot of confidence.

In his rookie year last season, he posterized veterans with his monster slam dunks. At 22 years old, he helped breathe life into a Clippers organization that was flailing.

That’s nothing compared to his latest move.

The 6-foot-10 muscle-laden power forward recently posed for ESPN The Magazine’s annual Body Issue, which hits newsstands Friday.

He wore nothing but a white thong.

At first, he said he felt ‘uncomfortable’ but after a while ‘I didn’t really care,’ he said. ‘They were bringing the robe over after every take and after a while, I was like, ‘Whatever, it’s OK.’ I guess I’m more comfortable now with less clothes.’

Dwight Howard posed for the magazine in 2009. Griffin said Howard’s spread inspired him to bare all. “Most athletes don’t really pose like that,’ he said. ‘I thought it was cool. It’s always tastefully done.”

Griffin’s other wardrobe options were a black thong and a leopard print thong.
