Details of Jered Weaver's contract are revealed

Weaver

The five-year, $85-million contract that Jered Weaver signed last week includes a full no-trade clause, a $1-million signing bonus and an annual salary that will push him past Dan Haren and Ervin Santana and make the right-hander the Angels' highest-paid pitcher next season.

Weaver, who is 15-7 with a 2.28 earned run average this season, will make a base salary of $14 million in 2012 and $16 million in both 2013 and 2014. His salary will jump to $18 million in 2015 and $20 million in 2016, the final year of the contract.
