Rafael Nadal is heading to the French Open final for the sixth time in the last seven years after his 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 victory over Andy Murray on Friday at Roland Garros.

The top-ranked Spaniard struggled at times with his serve but will move on to face the winner of Friday’s other semifinal match -- between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic -- with a shot at tying Bjorn Borg’s record of six French Open titles.

“For me it’s a dream to be back in the final,” said Nadal, who celebrated his 25th birthday by improving to 44-1 on the clay in Paris. “Both opponents will be very, very, very difficult for me and for everybody.”
