Mike Milbury’s insults backfire

I figured I’d avoid discussing TV commentator Mike Milbury’s sexist and inane attempt to insult Vancouver’s Henrik and Daniel Sedin by calling them “Thelma and Louise” during one of Milbury’s appearances on Versus because self-serving people like him crave attention and such stupidity should simply be ignored.

Also, because it was said on Versus, it probably wasn’t heard by a lot of people.

But Larry Brooks offered some great observations on Milbury in the New York Post that are worth sharing.

Shame on Versus/NBC for continuing to employ Milbury. Not just for this but for the body of his alleged work on the air. Is this really how the NHL wants to be portrayed?
