The 2010-11 NHL season ended only a few days ago, but next season’s NHL schedule will be announced this week, and the Kings on Tuesday announced their exhibition schedule.

They will play seven exhibition games against NHL teams, two at Staples Center plus one as the ‘home’ team against the Colorado Avalanche at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas -- the annual ‘Frozen Fury’ matchup -- and one against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. That arena is managed by AEG, the company that owns the Kings.
