Soccer star Wayne Rooney says his phone was hacked [Video]

It looks like English soccer star Wayne Rooney may want to build his own cone of silence if he wants to make sure his phone conversations remain private.

The Manchester United striker posted on his Twitter account Thursday that "Scotland Yard detectives came to see me earlier and showed me some documents, looks like a newspaper have hacked into my phone."

According to the Associated Press, three journalists from the British tabloid News of the World have been detained for questioning related to the alleged hacking of celebrity mobile phone voicemails. The tabloid has admitted to illegal phone hacking in the past.

And here's a way for Rooney to make sure his conversations stay confidential:
