Can’t we all just get along?: Referees try to break up a confrontation between Lakers guard Steve Blake and guard Jason Terry of the Dallas Mavericks. A fight broke out after Terry shoved Blake following a blocking foul at Staples Center on March 31, 2011.

The Lakers led, 90-73, with less than 9:30 remaining in the game when Blake drove the lane past Terry, only to lose the ball out of bounds as he was fouled. After getting shoved to the court by Terry, Blake immediately sprang up and jawed with him.

Referee Sean Wright stepped in to separate the two, but Mavericks and Lakers alike surrounded them. Lakers forward Matt Barnes rushed in and pushed Terry, a sign that confirmed to Blake that ‘I know he has my back.’ Barnes was later separated and ejected.

‘I don’t like to be pushed,’ Blake said as he walked down the hallway of Staples Center, ‘and no one else does either.’

Terry picked up a flagrant foul type 2 and earned an immediate ejection along with Blake and Mavericks center Brendan Haywood.

The testiness lingered, though. Lakers guard Shannon Brown earned an ejection after pushing Dallas forward Brian Cardinal for his foul on Pau Gasol.

Even though three Lakers were ejected from the game, Los Angeles went on to win, 110-82.
