Hockey: Ducks lead Kings 3-1 after two periods

Each team scored a goal in the second period and the Ducks continue to lead the Kings 3-1 heading into the third and final period of both teams’ regular season finale at Staples Center.

The Ducks are 2-for-3 on the power play and the Kings are 1-for-6. The Kings outshot the Ducks 19-5 in the second period and have a 34-16 advantage for the game.

Ryan Smyth‘s goal with 1:36 left in the second period was his 150th power-play goal and the Kings’ first power-play goal in seven games.
