David Beckham insists soccer stunts in ad are real

There's no question that Galaxy star David Beckham has done some pretty amazing things with a soccer ball through the years. But his new Diet Pepsi commercial, in which Beckham kicks three consecutive balls into far-away garbage cans far on the beach, raises one big question: Is that real?

Beckham had a simple answer when asked that very question by reporters Tuesday in Toronto: "Of course."

The soccer superstar, in town for the Galaxy's game Wednesday against Toronto FC, added, "I spent five or six hours on the beach so I had a lot of time to practice."

Beckham, whose comments appear in an article by Daniel Girard in the Toronto Star. His video has gotten more than 1.5 million views since being posted on YouTube last week.

Check it out. We all know Beckham is good, but is he that good? I mean, those are pretty tough shots to begin with -- to make all three in a row, especially with that really annoying cameraman screaming in the background, would be next to impossible.

What do you think?
