The Angels’ early batting practice Friday at U.S. Cellular Field was cut short by rain. Whether they will get Friday’s scheduled night game in was iffy in the middle of the afternoon.

Temperatures had dipped into the mid 40s with gusty winds making it feel even colder. Warnings of high winds were issued in several areas north of Chicago. If Friday’s scheduled game can’t be played, plans are for the Angels and White Sox to play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. CDT. That, however, could be a problem too since rain is forecast through Sunday.
