USC football: Jordan Cameron thanks Clippers Blake Griffin for NFL assist

March 30, 2011 |  5:16 pm

USC tight end Jordan Cameron showed off his athleticism during USC's Pro Day workout on Wednesday.

But Cameron got a head start on that with the entertaining video (embedded at the top of this post) he did with Clippers star Blake Griffin.

"Everyone talks about it," Cameron said. "It's Blake Griffin. Everyone wants to know about him--what he's doing. Thankfully he's a good friend of mine so it helps get my name out there a little bit."

Cameron said the idea for the video was hatched after playing pick-up basketball games during the summer.

"For a guy like me, I didn’t do anything in college so I needed to prove that I can run and jump at this level and kind of move," Cameron said. "It was good for me to get my name out there."
