Recruiting: Early enrollees under the radar on signing day
With college football fans awaiting the next wave of announcements on national signing day, it's easy to forget that USC already has eight new players on campus.
Quarterbacks Max Wittek and Cody Kessler are among the players counted against the Class of 2010 and will participate in spirng practice.
Other new players include: kicker Andre Heidari; long snapper Peter McBride; fullback Soma Vainuku; linebacker Dallas Kelley; and offensive linemen Jeremy Galten and David Garness, both junior college transfers.
Defensive back Isiah Wiley, a JC transfer who was supposed to be part of the January arrivals, is listed as having signed a letter of intent on Wednesday.
