After meeting with Michigan officials about the Wolverines’ football coaching vacancy Monday night, LSU Coach Les Miles has decided to remain with the Tigers, according to Louisiana State University Athletic Director Joe Alleva.

Alleva said in a statement on the school’s athletic website that Miles told him Tuesday morning that he will be staying in Baton Rogue. Miles, a Michigan graduate, is 62-17 with the Tigers, including five bowl victories and one national title in the previous six seasons.
