The Los Angeles City Council’s Trade, Commerce and Tourism Committee is meeting Wednesday to discuss AEG’s proposed downtown NFL stadium and its effects on Los Angeles Convention Center operations.

Committee Chairwoman Janice Hahn has requested reports from the city and the convention center, and AEG President Tim Leiweke is attending the meeting and will deliver his first presentation before a City Council committee on the subject.

AEG’s plans would require $350 million to tear down the L.A. Convention Center’s West Hall to allow stadium construction to proceed.
