The Ducks still don’t know how long they’ll be without captain Ryan Getzlaf as they await word after another specialist examined his nasal sinus fractures Tuesday.

But they learned that at least newly acquired center Maxim Lapierre is ready to go for Wednesday’s game against Nashville at the Honda Center after receiving his work visa on Tuesday. Lapierre, who is Canadian, was acquired from Montreal on Friday and is likely to center the third line.

In addition, with winger Jason Blake limited by a shoulder injury, the Ducks recalled forward Dan Sexton yet another time from Syracuse of the American Hockey League. Sexton has appeared in 17 games with Anaheim this season, contributing two goals and four points.
