Women's basketball: UCLA 25, Louisiana State 21 at halftime

After trailing 7-0, the UCLA women's basketball started making its shots and forcing turnovers to claw its way to a 25-21 halftime lead over Louisiana State on Tuesday at Pauly Pavilion.

UCLA, ranked No. 8 in the nation, took its first lead of the half with 9:01 remaining when Markel Walker made one of two free throws. The Bruins forced 13 turnovers, while only committing eight and outshot the Lady Tigers 40% to 30.4%.

Darxia Morris leads UCLA (10-0) with eight points, including two three-pointers. Taylor Turnbow has six points for LSU (9-4)
