Shaq conducts the Boston Pops

Shaquille O'Neal's head subtly shook back and forth as if he were juking a defender. But instead of wearing a basketball uniform, he was wearing a slick black suit, and instead of holding a basketball, he was holding a baton that looked like a toothpick in his behemoth hands.

On Monday night, the Big Aristotle disseminated his musical knowledge to the Boston Pops, leading the famed orchestra in a performance of "Sleigh Ride."

It is not unusual for O'Neal to connect with fans in, well, unique ways for a basketball player. He recently went to Harvard Square and posed as a statue for nearly an hour while fans took photos.
