Utility infielder Kevin Frandsen was the only arbitration-eligible Angels player who was not tendered a 2011 contract before Thursday night’s deadline. Frandsen, who hit .250 with 14 runs batted in and gave the Angels quality play as a fill-in starter at third base in June and July, becomes a free agent.

The Angels did tender 2011 contracts to pitcher Jered Weaver, catchers Mike Napoli and Jeff Mathis, first baseman Kendry Morales, second baseman Howie Kendrick, shortstop Erick Aybar, third baseman Alberto Callaspo and outfielder Reggie Willits.
