World Series game 5 update: Rangers seek first hit but still scoreless against Giants after three innings

Ws-rangers-murphylb8fexnc San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Tim Lincecum has yet to give up a hit through three innings as the Giants and Texas Rangers remained scoreless in World Series Game 5.

Except for a walk to Mitch Moreland, Lincecum struck out the side in the bottom of the third inning: David Murphy, Bengie Molina and Elvis Andrus.

In the top of the inning, Andres Torres stroked a two-out single off Rangers starter Cliff Lee and Freddy Sanchez then lined a ball that Lee snagged for the third out by stretching his glove hand high above his head.
