The San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers were scoreless after the first inning in World Series Game 5 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

With the Giants’ Tim Lincecum on the mound, Elvis Andrus hit a comebacker to the right-hander, Michael Young flied out and Josh Hamilton grounded out.

Texas left-handed starter Cliff Lee gave up a two-out single to Buster Posey in the top of the inning but then got cleanup hitter Cody Ross to pop out.
