UCLA linebacker Patrick Larimore, who sat out the last two games because of a dislocated shoulder, may need surgery to repair a tear in his labrum, according to a source in the program.

Larimore was scheduled to see a doctor Tuesday night. He had hoped that rest would heal the injury, but the shoulder did not improve over the weekend. Larimore, the Bruins’ starting middle linebacker, was injured against Oregon on Oct. 21.
