Kings put Scott Parse on injured reserve

The Kings placed forward Scott Parse on the injured reserve list, retroactive to Nov. 16.

The move was expected. The 26-year-old Parse is scheduled to undergo hip surgery Tuesday to repair his labrum and will be out three to four months.

In five games this season, he has one goal and three assists after sitting out the first 11 games because of his hip. Last season, as a rookie, Parse had 24 points in 59 regular-season games.
