A very hairy morning for the Kings.

In honor of Ryan Smyth playing his 1,000th NHL game Saturday night, his teammates decided to honor him with wigs duplicating the mullet he used to wear.

Here’s Jarret Stoll.

And here’s Drew Doughty, who took a moment to fluff his hair for full effect.

We’ll have more later on the Kings’ morning skate and their thoughts on Smyth.

By the way, Coach Terry Murray didn’t wear the mullet wig, but he had a good excuse: He lived through the ‘70s and the bad hair.
