Chris Henry: CBS does powerful piece on former NFL player's organ donation

Chrishenry_175 Chris Henry, the former NFL receiver who died last year following an accident in which he fell from a pickup during a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, was the focus of a powerful feature on CBS' Thanksgiving Day coverage.

The piece, in which it was revealed that his mother donated his organs, moved CBS pregame show host Jim Brown to tears after it aired.

Henry, who had a history of off-the-field problems, played five seasons in the NFL and was placed on injured reserve by the Cincinnati Bengals in November of 2009 after he broke his left arm while making a reception against the Baltimore Ravens. He died a month later.
